Why we cough? Is it a an illness we have to get through too? It is a very good question we must learn about coughing.
Coughing is not a disease. It is a very good sign that if we are coughing, we are expelling some impurities in our system. When a person has power enough to cough, even though he does not get up anything at the time, it is a great indication that he has strength enough to throw impurities. Tickling will induce coughing. This will be accomplished by putting into the mouth a teaspoonful of honey. Do not swallow it but let it flow the saliva to the mouth from the salivary glands. There maybe a sore spot in the throat or in the tonsils which irritates and produces this coughing. Let the mouth fill with saliva; then spit it all out. Take some distilled water, gargle and then wash out the mouth. Take another teaspoonful of honey and do exactly the same thing, and continue doing it until there seems to be very difficult to get anymore saliva. Three or four times of this will do the work very nicely. Don't forget to take a drink of any good fruit juice. Consider Epsom salt baths too, it will help in this case.
